Gold Medals help you unlock items in the Special Book as well as certain skills.
You need to clear missions within a certain time to earn Gold Medals, so speed becomes key. The information below describes how to customize Sonic for speed, as well as tips for each mission type.

Equippable level for skills: Level 57 – 66
If you do not yet have enough skill points or levels, you can adjust by using less powerful versions of the skills listed above.
